Pre-Appointment Info

As of 14 February 2022, our salons will not be holding cash on site or accepting cash as payment for goods and services (unless pre-approved). We felt that this was the right move going forward with the safety of our team front of mind. As always we can accept payment via eftpos/credit card, bank transfer, Afterpay, Laybuy, Genoapay or Gift card. Thank you all so much for your continued support!

Parking - Ponsonby Salon
You can find our parks across the road from the salon in the angle parks with Loxy's signs, 1, 9, 12, and 16. Please note that these parks are available on a first come, first served basis. There is additional on street paid parking available.
Parking - Commercial Bay Salon
The best parking for our new Commercial Bay salon is in the downtown carpark, off Customs Street West in the CBD. Head to level 1 and walk into the double glass doors just past the pay machines. Continue on through the lobby and you'll reach an airbridge that'll take you straight into Commercial Bay. Once you walk in the main entrance, head right up the escalators and you'll see the Loxy's sign at the top.

Appointments offered
At Loxy's our appointments fill up extremely fast and when appointments are offered by email we’re only able to hold the spot for you until the end of the day. When in doubt, give us a call so we can book you in immediately to avoid disappointment!

Sustainable Salons Green Fee
Please note that all appointments will incur a $2 surcharge to cover our in-salon recycling program with Sustainable Salons. Nearly everything at Loxy's from hair clippings, foil, chemicals, plastic and even old hair extensions are able to be collected and recycled.

Cancellations/Late for appointment
If you are running late for your appointment we may need to reschedule or alter your treatment to fill the remaining time available. We will do our best to accommodate you but cannot in doing so impact on the appointment times of other guests.

We recognise that from time to time you may have to postpone or cancel your appointment. However, we do ask that you give us 36-hours notice of the postponement or cancellation and we will be happy to re-book you for another appointment. If an appointment is postponement or cancelled with less than 36 hours notice we reserve the right to add a $40 charge to your next appointment.
We’ll do our best to avoid this charge (by filling the spot with another client) but it’s also up to you to make sure you let us know ASAP if you can’t make your appointment. Thanks!

A 15 minute complimentary consultation is mandatory for all new extension clients at Loxy’s. This allows us to assess your hair and whether you are suitable for the Loxy’s method of hair extensions, as well as giving us time to explain proper care and maintenance of your extensions and answer any questions you may have. At the time of your consultation we do require a $250.00 deposit be paid to hold your application appointment. If this is not paid at the time of your consultation, we will require this to be paid within a week of your application appointment.

New Extensions/Hair Extension Maintenance
Please note that our hair extension services do not include a wash and blow wave. This means that for longevity and best results on extension services, you will need to come to the salon with clean, dry hair, or book a blow wave with us.
